This workflow is the practical response to Casetti's theory of 'Cinematic Relocation.' If the cinema is going to live on a phone, a tablet, and a Times Square billboard, the edit has to be built for that reality from the ground up. We're no longer just making a movie; we're making a media object that needs to survive in the wild.
