technique that uses AI models to generate complex alpha mattes (masks) from simple user inputs, such as a rough outline or a point-and-click on an object. It transforms the traditionally laborious, frame-by-frame process of rotoscoping into a more interactive and efficient task, where the editor "prompts" the software to identify and track the desired object. This shifts the editor's role from manual tracer to that of a supervisor guiding an intelligent tool.
