Worldizing

sound design technique for creating authentic reverberation by playing a pre-recorded, 'dry' sound through a speaker in a physical space and re-recording it to capture the unique acoustic properties of that environment. This 'worldized' or 'wet' track is then mixed back with the original dry recording, allowing the editor to precisely place the sound within a specific, tangible location, bypassing the need for artificial digital reverb.
