Post-viz (Post-visualization)

emporary visual effects created after a scene has been shot, often on set as a live, rough composite. Post-viz is used to provide a better visual representation of a VFX-heavy shot than the raw footage (e.g., an actor in front of a green screen) would allow. While not high quality, it serves as a crucial placeholder in the edit, helping to establish framing, timing, and story context long before the final VFX shot is complete.
