Dykstraflex Camera System

pioneering computer-controlled motion control camera system developed for *Star Wars* (1977). Instead of moving the models, the Dykstraflex moved a lightweight camera on seven axes around a stationary model, allowing for repeatable, dynamic camera moves that could be composited together to create complex space battle sequences with an unprecedented sense of scale and motion.
